Re: 72 burb build

Oh, I didnt buy the E-level, thats just the controller, comes with a pressure switch that has memory you can set it at 200/160/120 i think.. something like that. I think the E level is a waste for a pavement pounder.

Re: 72 burb build

More waiting. gotta all my steering off. Will have a busy family weekend but will hop to stripping the frame and get her ready to accept the dropmember, then once she arrives, notch the frame for steering, and POR15 everything, then I plan on scuffing up the POR 15 and shooting silver lacquer on all suspension components.. seen it done, turns out pretty good. Also dropped my headers off to get sandblasted and coated satin black.

Re: 72 burb build

Well its been a while since I have posted about the suburban

Got the Porterbuilt DM all buttoned up with the ART tubular control arms shaved up a bit cuz there was some rubbing. picked up a tone of little stuff for the truck.

Ordering some 24X12 and 24X9 raceline speedster 5s in about a week or so. Ordering Porterbuilt trailing arm DM with inside the frame bag mounts for the nice wide wheels

Billy bobs customs in Aberdeen is going to handle all the body and paint for me. Not sure about upholstery, still have to find a set of seats I like for the front and rear. Gonna run dakota digital gauges for sure and run a big center console housing some electronics.

Lots to do and lots to think about

Re: 72 burb build

So i decided to order the PB inside frame rail trailing arm dropmember, should be in within a couple weeks now. Josh Jones of Jones Paint Innovations is going to be picking up the truck at the end of the month to do all the metal work and paint. I have almost everything I need for the truck now minus brakes, steering column, and engine stuff. Sitches Custom Auto Upholstery is doing the interior hopefully october timeframe... here are some thoughts as to body and front end.

Only a matter of time now.

HAHA.. yeah of course it would, we are taking a whole new route motor wise, that is all going away now and were running a much nicer higher HP setup.

Re: 72 burb build

We are using champagne and that red for sure. being a show truck black and white is a little too plain. gonna run saddle leather interior.
