Pretty sure.
GMC's didn't come with a Chevrolet grille. Chevrolet's have 1 headlight per side and GMC have 2 per side.

All 60-66 GMC's except some of the big rigs received the same grille. Only the GMC letters changed shape during the run. 1966 letters were square with red paint in the center, all others were smooth faced and oval shaped.

Be sure to check the pink before you buy and see that it says GMC, if it does`nt you may have problems.

more money than you will pay for the truck. the truck and car shop in orange ca. has a good used one hanging on there wall with a $900.00 price tag on it. this grill is not reproduced and a lot of people even chevy guys want them.
the add if you notice says with exchange or equal money for exchange that says they can ask what ever for exchange

Update: saturday came and so did a big surprise!!!

So I am following up a post from earlier this week about a truck I wanted to buy:

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=510479

I went to see, what I thought was a 65 gmc with an inline 6 in it today and boy did I get a big surprise. The previous owner dropped a 72 chevy 350 v8 in it with headers and huge 4 barrel holley carb!! boy does this thing sound mean!

needless to say, I bought it!. They were asking 3500 originally but I got them to go down to $2800. here in LA these are sought after trucks and especially with the extras under the hood, I think I got a pretty good deal, I cant complain. In fact, as I was pulling up the owner was on the phone with someone begging them to let them come get it for the full asking price but they were nice enough to turn them down because they already made a deal with me

I'm really happy about the extras but at the same time I know I should be prepared for the cons of something pieced together like this as apposed to something all original. I will keep you all posted on what becomes of it as i get my hands dirty. in the meantime, heres a few more pics:

not sure why he took the speedometer out...??

Im definitely replacing those ugly mirrors!

Re: Update: saturday came and so did a big surprise!!!

I wouldn't be too worried about the "pieced together" part. Having a small block V8 is not that big a deal because all the parts are common and stock to the 60-66 chassis. Other than the grille, dash, and tailgate, about the only really unique item to the GMC was the V6 engine. Just about everything else was shared between the brands, swapping parts required little effort beyond bolting together the preferred combination.

And congratulations!

Looks like you made out pretty good.

BTW, that is not a huge Holley carb. That looks like a 600 cfm #1850 carb. Just right for a stock 350. I would suggest seeing about a bigger air filter so the engine can breath.

Re: (Updated) think im picking this up on saturday....

There are two things that you need to fix emediately one is the hot lead coming thru the firewall going to the ballist resistor, you need a rubber gromet before the wire wears thru the insulation, or you`ll have harness fire, the second thing is move your filter down infront of the engine just after the fuel pump. those plastic filters have a habit of melting, and third butits your call change the master cylinder our to a dual and split the lines..l

Re: (Updated) think im picking this up on saturday....

I also just noticed the transmission kick down linkage isn’t connected. It’s an easy fix, you just need to obtain a carburetor ball stud and connect it as shown in the 2nd photo:
