I used to pass this one on the way to a local bar-b-que.
It's gone now.

Re: Let's see some construction trucks

If I ever come across a set of those utility boxes that bolt on in place of stepside fenders, I am going to try and buy them. I am a tool nut and don't like the idea of not carrying at least 50 pounds of tools where ever I go.

My dad's 68 GMC 1 Ton that I use for my construction career. This would be its heaviest load that I know it's hauled.

Re: Let's see some construction trucks

Thanks Greg. I like it. The bob job makes for a great tow vehicle. I wonder if the box dumps. Might be another reason for the bob. Although spring hangers would have to be right there leaving a tight area for hinges

Hey, where did you get that embem made with your city's name on it. I want to get a Mt. Airy one made . We had a truck body/equipt upfitter here that sold Reading. I was a well known customer. Not because I bought the most, because I put them on old trucks. Went out in the recession. It was York Truck Body for years (and Watson when I was a kid). I knew Tom York well. His gen manager bought it and it became Baltimore/Washington Truck Equipment, but with truck sales so bad, Kevin had to shut the doors... bummer

Re: Let's see some construction trucks

Hey Tim...that's a choice rear bumper on your GMC...can never find them locally or at Carlisle that wrap around bedside.Someone cut that section off mine on each side.Nice truck..sits perfect....Friend of mine had been after the gold and white Reading bodied truck so I recently left it go,,had some unexpected bills come up and needed to convert metal to cash.Talk to you Saturday looks like great weather.

Someone needs to save that one and build a 2017 SEMA truck out of it.
