Re: Dusted off the old tools... (Sub box build) 1980 stepper
after second sanding...
after primer... There are some spots that I need to touch up... Some sanding scratches I missed and a few spots I think need a little more bondo... Hopefully tomorrow I can test fit and get the gear in and see how it sounds.. then off to paint... .

Re: Dusted off the old tools... (Sub box build) 1980 stepper
it was a tight fit... I had to sand down a corner and bend piece of my truck, but it was the part the weather stripping goes on to.. so you can tell the difference..
It's FAR from perfect, but for my first box I'm happy with it.. Sounds great, hits good, probably great to most.. but the 15 in my excursion hits better... it will go to paint next week or so, and then on to what ever is next.. the seat touches the 6x9 cover but not enough to push against it.. .

Ill take a tape measure to it if that will help ya.. but I would use the basic idea and measure for your truck... I'm sure everything is going to be a little different.. I didn't keep any numbers so I can only give you the outside dimensions..
