Re: got tired of kneeing my steering wheel when I shift (clutch and brake pedal lower
I wonder if one of those hood bumper/bolt things would work too? I might play around with this when I put my 66 back together....

Re: got tired of kneeing my steering wheel when I shift (clutch and brake pedal lower
Jocko,
Thanks for posting this. I've had the parts on the workbench for over a year and TONIGHT, I finally did this mod. My clutch pedal arm didn't line up with the hole, so I drilled a hole to make the bolt line up. See pics. Of course, once the bolt was installed I had to get under the hood to adjust the clutch linkage rod. Clutch just begins to grab slightly at about 1" off the floor. Here are pics. Works GREAT! Thanks again.

I am hoping to be able to do this with a hydraulic clutch setup.
