Re: Newbie needs help removing drum on 64 C10

I know this is an old thread, but i wanted to double check as i'm in the same boat....my hubs seem to be riveted to the drums, and i want to re-use the wheel hub with new drums.

So just cut the rivets off and punch them out, and no need to bolt the new drums to the hubs or anything? it'd seem like just the wheel being on and tight would hold it in place, like most drum setups...

That's what I did on mine. Everything works fine. The new drums didn't even have holes for rivets.
