Ok Craig......I can't stay away...
Dang.
Dang....I wish I was in the same room as that truck.
A question for ya...
Is there a story on that fan shroud...?
One of my cronies...the "Old Guys"....might know.

I haven't seen one like it.

But.....
I haven't seen all that many trucks that I would consider the same caliber..as far as a truck that "needs some work".
IMO...if that is what it appears to be...all things considered....V-8...OE black....Custom with big glass....shorty with Custom Cab...and above all...taken good care of....that's the mutha of all C-10's.....or close to it.

BTW...
That's a real $hitter about the Taneau (spellcheck..?) cover guy.
That probably happened in the early nineties.....just a weak moment....an a few hundred extra bucks.
But it probably looked like a million bucks with the new black vinyl & two million snaps.
I wish I had that truck and all those problems...

Hey, nice score. I think I'd just drive it for awhile and improve on things as you go. You'll find many good tips and tricks on this site. Lots of usefull information here as you will find out when you start browsing. If you have questions just post for help and there's always someone willing to offer assistance. Enjoy the new ride and welcome to the forum.

Wow, that thing is cherry. That is as good as it gets for a starting point. Well optioned truck and endless potential to be even better. I'm just amazed at the condition of everything. Oh, and that shroud that other fella asked about, is correct, as is the top rad tube. Nice ride, drive it for a while, and get the love affair started.

Welcome to the forum Craig

That is a very nice truck, regardless of needing a little attention. I'm looking forward to see your upgrades.
