Re: Meet Betty 72 GMC
You need one of these to put under that new/old air cleaner, then it will fit.

She has a really nice stance. Any kind of drop on the truck or is it just the tires?

Re: Meet Betty 72 GMC
Out with the old Ford Seat. Bad karma even if there was some spare change under it!

Yeah get that out of there If you ever need a seat recovered, or any interior work, look up Murdocks' upholstery in brevard, nc. He does excellent work...he recovered the seat in my 86, and I got my 67 GMC from him. kind regards

Re: Meet Betty 72 GMC
Picked up a ton of parts from Dave's in Clairemont, NC. Rocker panels, cab corners, dash pad, front fender, roll pan but best of all is my new shaved manifold!

Love to see a gmc on here, so many guys want to change that front end to a chevy two headlight set up but I'm a fan of the four headlights.

Betty has a few upgrades, but many problems persist.

In ten days the cab will undergo new rockers, cab corners and be on the way to cleaning up the interior.

Naphtali5725 I thought your suggestion was a valid one for the pics.
I am with you, any time I can get free advice from people who may have more experience than myself I am more than happy to take it. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Meet Betty 72 GMC
Yes, but little things are still getting int he way of any declairation of progress. I have three dash panels, none can I get all lights working! One has turn signals but nothing else. Another has GEN and OIL but nothing else and a third has nothing lit at all. Fuses good, 12 volt to # 12 good? That and I need some work to remove a shift kit from the turbo 400. I will post some clear photos when I return from the beach to show how pitiful this Betty is! Cheers!
