Re: 71 C20 Eaton locker posi score
That one in Bernville, is it on an old farm? They had so much old stuff there. Lots of fun to go to. I wasn't there in many years though. I have some pics of some of the cars.
As for Carlisle, I got a new floor for a cab I'm building to replace the one on my stepside. Got it for 4 bills from Top banana. REALLY wanted a new cowl panel for my wrecker project but there is some hold up on them and they haven't been available for months! I can't wait any longer so I am fixing my old one. (was doing that today) Just some odds and ends other than that. Got a few body working supplies while I was there and few things for my other cars. Going to Leesport flea market tomorrow. A nice little get together that doesn't cost anything.

Bob, Yes, I think he means the junkyard on Swissdale Road just outside of Bernville that was an old farm. It's half the size now- if you can believe it! I loved driving by and seeing some old panel trucks and PU's from the 50's lined up in between the trees.

Re: 71 C20 Eaton locker posi score
Yes, It's on Rt 645 (Camp Swatara Rd). Go thru Frystown, turn Left onto Rt. 645, about 1/2 mi on left. I never bought anything there, so I don't know their prices- I think I went there once and asked to buy something off of a truck and they said "No" they were selling the whole thing (it was total junk). If I recall correctly, they have newer stuff (88-98 chevy trks) and they keep all the good stuff in the back, way off the road, and they will not let you go look around. If you google map it- you'll know what I am talking about. I have heard of a huge yard in Bethel Twp called Farnsworth Auto parts (Meckville Rd, maybe?), never been there- have you?

Re: 71 C20 Eaton locker posi score
A neighbor told me about moore's but he didnt know if they had 67-72's.
I have heard of the farnsworth yard but I've never been there either. I'm gonna have too visit these two yards soon cause I'm curious. leesport was cool I didnt have a lot of time but I scanned everything quickly asked about a rusty cluster he said "$40" then down the ilse I found a super nice 67-68 cluster he said $5 well I couldnt live without it so iit came home with me.I was hoping to find some very cheap sbc nova headers.

Re: 71 C20 Eaton locker posi score
All I got was a hub cap. A stainless pre-73 cap for a 3/4 ton. Might save it for mine. If not, I'll ebay it.
I really tried to spend some money there but other than that cap and a small french fry, that was all I could find. ![]() Was fun driving the 454 down anyway. Saw a few of "our" style trucks in the parking lot. Anyone here own an orange (red) one with a Buick hood ornament? ![]() To get this thread on topic again, the posi goes in today. ![]()

Re: 71 C20 Eaton locker posi score
Hey guys, nice find on the Eaton posi...guess ya beat me to it.(ha-ha)
Actually, I usually go to Harry's..but a lot of their older inventory went to the crusher. There's also a yard in Slatington I've been to a time or two. I bought some stock 8 lug wheels there about 10 years ago..my problem is I rarely find time to go scouting around.I'm hardly ever around, period. I just wanted to say thanks for the info on some places I didn't know about. They're a bit of a drive for me with $4.00/gal. gas prices, but I'll keep them in mind, you never know, one of these weekends I might actually get caught up on the wife's "to-do" list, and find the time to see what's out there for pickin'.
