Re: another craigslist deal MY WIFE SAYS NO TOO!

Email sent here as well. Didn't see that someone else already emailed till now. Flatbed standing by if we can't get it running. I hate it when there is no phone number to call. If he listed a number... I'd be on the road right now to look at it.

Its the same area I yarded my 1972 GMC out of a field.

Nice deal on that truck, glad I am not closer or it would be in my yard, just sold my 64 Fairlane 500 Sport coupe today, so an empty space to fill.

I'm just waiting for my phone to ring when the cat calls me since he listed no number on his listing.

Re: another craigslist deal MY WIFE SAYS NO TOO!

Its either sold by now....or its a joke to begin with. A price like that reflects ignorance; which obviously is not the case, as the seller notes the tach, big block, etc. Funny how no phone number is listed either. A while back there was a similar truck for a ridiculously low price listed out of the same area that turned out to be a hoax.

sounds like it....or the guy placed the ad then hasn't been checking emails...but more likely a joke or a way to get a rise out of a bunch of guys and laugh at their emails....remember a guy on clist placing bogus ads for I think randy or someone else then telling them they couldn't buy it even if they paid more or something similar...

Re: another craigslist deal MY WIFE SAYS NO TOO!

Well... I sent the email awhile back (around 11am), and have yet to hear from the seller. I only live a little over an hour from Lake Stevens...

Maybe the seller has just been busy. I myself, NEVER include my phone # when I list something on CL. It could be real. It's not like it's a Yenko or something.

Re: another craigslist deal MY WIFE SAYS NO TOO!

Very true.... however, dealing over email sucks. I've posted my phone number on CL before and haven't had any problems. Meh... either way... I got a line on another truck for $500 bucks right in my own town I live in.

exactly! if the ad simply stated "chevy truck for sale" it would be way more believeable. the fact that all desired features are noted and shown in pics specifically shows that the person placing the ad "knows" what they are.
