Re: Danny Boy's '59 4 Eyes Project
Found a machine shop and ordered king pins. King pins due in on Thursday. Hoping to get the parts back from the machine shop by Saturday for installation. I cleaned my spindles and painted them a nice black. Axle will be cleaned up tomorrow in preparation for machine shop.
Tonight I took the axle out. Found out one of my front shocks was blown (no recoil at all after pressing down). So we'll add that to the parts list. Talked with CPP today about brake kits and realized no one has a 6 lug that works with stock wheels. *sigh* I'm going to work with a machine shop familiar with the set up to see if we can get something done.... Until then, I think I am going to get a power booster and take off proportioning valve until I figure the disc thing out. More to follow. Posted via Mobile Device |
