I am interested in this I've actually wanted to go for a while now. I can't commit completely yet, but I'm in for the planning and discussion.

My '63 will be my ride and is ready to go, if this happens...(I'm just afraid that my bank account might not survive the Drop Member and "Delmo-ized" wheel bug that could be biting out that way!)

well guys im out for the brothers show looks like i will have to make this trip !! I could meet you guys in NM if you are taking 40? I think for this time of year Flagstaff is the place to worry about.

Yeah thats better than butters...I still wished I would have picked a better name.

I talked to the wife and she is up for it. She misses AZ, so I didn't think it would to hard to convince her to go. I will contact a few of the NW guys and see if there up to going.

yes 40 would be the route , So FLagstaff ? i am sure you are correct ! any input from anyone else on that ? I said Gallup just because i have been snowed in there before but that was on Dec 23rd 15 years ago !! LOL

dang sorry we wont see ya at brothers but they do a good job on the roads through flagstaff and in november you should be good

Yeah was gonna fly out family stuff came up so hopefully I will be done with the K5 by than This is the kick in the a@@ I may need to get it road trip worthy!!

Yeah i dont think we have to worry about road closures just about getting a little weather.

If Albuquerque is going to be a stop I could try to figure out a good central spot to meet and stay the night. From there we could make Phoenix in about 8 hours!!

Thought I would post this over here too... If you drop down to Interstate 10 on I20 from Dallas (or elsewhere) you would avoid all of the high altitude on I40 and coming down from Flagstaff there are a lot of 7 percent grades. Would all be avoided if just went in on 10. I am definitely going to do my best to see if this could be possible for me! Slick67 if you can go and would want to drive out or whatever let me know. I have apartment in the Medical Center in H town and am here at least 60 percent of the time even though it says I am down in El Campo.
