I like the new Corvette, hot rod aftermarket (can't remember the company name0, late model Bonneville, Escort, Porsche, in that order. I think they should be a "rounded square" shape or they don't look right. Just my opinion but y'all are welcome to it

I have those exact mirrors on my 81 silverado, they stick out enough for towing!!!!!!!,

Would look nasty on my 72

check out the ones like are on our 66 chevy II,and a lot of 60's chevys impalas etc.. thats what I'm using,
small clean, and with a bowtie on the back, also a friend of mine took the wing window locks and drilled through them, and used some custom motorcycle mirrors ,real cool if you don't open your wing windows

I'd been thinking that Porsche 944 mirrors might look alright, in fact I think I've seen that before, but I dunno how hard/spendy those would be to track down. I really like the look of the original round ones and since a couple of people have said that they can see alright, I might look into that.

I figure that I;m going to be doing a bunch of resto work on the doors this summer anyway so I might as well make the swicth now. If I had 1 pice glass, there's a lot to choose form though I noticed a couple of the Fords that someone mentioned and those might look OK too....hmm.....

Guess I'll see what I can find in the boneyards first.

(I like the idea of the old musclecar mirrors too....the bullet style ones from the 66-70 Shelby's might look pretty sweet)

I agree with dtlilly, gotta love the huge old R/V mirrors

except mine are two different colors...what I need is a brand new set of stainless ones...
