Re: Lets see some red trucks
LOL, Ok, take a tomato to your paint shop to get the color of "your" truck. That must have been one beautiful tomato. Take an apple and get the apple red. Tomato red. Very good.

Most likely apple red. I think that was the stock color.

Re: Lets see some red trucks
Here is my 77, I recently imported to the UK
She has no rot,but has had a very average repaint a few years back. The original red in the door shuts slightly is more orangy than the red they used. The butgundy doesnt look far off the original where I can see that. Sadly the sticker is missing from the glovebox so I have no idea of color codes.Anyone any ideas of what the colors were called.? Just fitted the new Truxedo tonneau-took an age to get one in 'Buckskin', but very pleased & it compliments the same color interior great. Next thing she needs is wider rims.I fancy the wheel vintiques OE style steels, with the original hub caps. Should I go 8x15 all round with 235/75s ? or will 10x15 go on the rear ok(if so what size tires) + 8x15 front? Cheers |
