That's exactly what I would do to it... he has good taste! Might have slip in a 5spd though...

I sure hope its in as good condition as it looks! I'm sure it has some rust but it screams like it hasn't been screwed with by the POs. I saw the one cap and hopefully the other three are still there. I did call the old guy to see what he wanted for it but the Old Truck fund isn't exactly where it needs to be right now. I was hoping to pull off a miracle. Good to see someone on the forum got it! I can't wait to see pictures!

it definately has some rust but if I can at all I'm gonna leave the patina looking paint alone , if I have to put floor pans and or cab supports in it thats fine , the old guy I got it from said he has had it for 15 year's he bought it from the original owner who was an older gentleman from north carolina , it dont matter what it needs I'm gonna fix ,, he said it still has all the factory stock stuff under the hood too , said it had some floor pan rust but not bad , I will load the pic's soon as I get it !

LOL you guy's should see some of the truck's my son found on his own and wanted me to buy ! ohhh yea I could see the one hubcap too so I asked him and he said the other three are on it !!

UPDATE : well I'm off work this weekend so I am going to just run on up and pick the patina 68 up ! my son is super excited and I am too ! the guy I bought the truck from is the nicest guy you ever talked to ,,, I rented a tow dolly and I'm gonna take the two back tires off my 67 and put on it to tow it home ,,, cant wait to get it home will post pics soon as I can ,,,,

Looks like a real nice find. Great starter for your son. I hope it turns out as nice when you get it home. Clean it up, lower it and he will be in heaven.
