Its really cool he doesn't want to stray from the factory options. Personally, and as many have stated, we don't mind adding factory options. That being said, make sure just the stock sound deadening materials and points dizzy go in! He will either be fed up with the noise and points after a few years, or you will have raised a die hard purist that could go on to win some concours awards later. Either way it's a win. You could have a civic with huge aluminum wing with a sweet 4" exhaust tip in the driveway!
