Re: Above Ground lift questions
I store my Z28 on top of my Corvette all the time.
Only caveat is protect the bottom car from leaks above. Hart Rod, 12-13 feet is usually considered the minimum.

I don't like to leave anything on my lift for a long period of time, not more than a few days at a time or so. Doesn't mean it isn't safe or possible, just my policy. |

Re: Above Ground lift questions
Thanks for the response guys, I do a daily walk around and inspect welds and check for changes with a level. The '67 probly weighs around 3200#, we'll see how it goes?

Re: Above Ground lift questions
Mike,
I don't own anything that wouldn't leak all over the lower car so I know I wouldn't leave anything on top, but with that said I still can't say I would trust my cheaper brand for that purpose. Maybe if I had a Mohawk or one of the other type top line lifts but not with the one I have. It has never done anything wrong (other than my own screwup on setting legs) but I never have anything in the air without the support stands under it on each end. That would make it impossible to park anything under it. Just my 2 cents

Re: Above Ground lift questions
Yea I have diapers under the '67 for leaks, she'll only give a few drips when it's been on a run, other wise it don't drip. Thanks Richard, you guys give me more confidence in stacking vehicles
