my cab ,fenders and radiator support were not in good condition and had lots of rust
thats why i bouth a rare cab,fenders and radiator support in very good shape and condition ,without even 1% rust

then removwd the cab ,engine and gearbox and chassis sent to sandblast

project has been started again after stopped for some front end parts such arm bushing,ball joint ...
finally we found the original and made in USA parts
its really hard to fine these thins here
sent the chassis for changing the parts

we sent the chassis to the sandblast,it was the soft kind ,better for paining
and after that we done painting
the next step is cleaning under the cab for rubberized spraying

still we did not fix the power steering and ball joint

i got the body mount from US,it was like a nightmare to finding this pack in IRAN



so right now i can rubberized under the cab and put it on chassis

anybody knows how can i clean it extremely,specially the oil under the cab?

Nice build. You can use a strong degreaser for under the cab. Wire brush it , clean again and seal.

thanks for your advise,im gonna try to do that, hope be clean

the doors needed some bodywork, we removed the paint long time ago ,and doors got rust.

the performer told me clean the doors and spray black color to see the waves on it

and i did

already cleaned the center pan ,fixed with acrylic sealant ,then cleaned under the cab from oil and started to rubberizing and after that painting

pulled up the engine to the frame and already paint the front of cabin ,
after that add frame mount ,and fixed the cabin on frame
then we'r going for some body work

just tried to ave this kind of paint: blue metallic
but i dont know is it good looking for this car or not








finally found the original GMC tail gate in very rare and good condition,its really hard to find this kind of body part in IRAN
ready to paint






and some work on rusty bed












shortening and replace the short step with the long and old one














fenders were in very bad shape and condition with lots of rusts





























and bought the short bed wood strips from US

already finished the cab body work,erased the paint,and will starting the body filler











during this time i was looking for rims and tire, found some things on eBay ,but did not have any knowledge about offset, backspace and how to calculate it,didn't want the rims kick out from the fenders,finally after several search on the web ,got some information about it,the tire which is i have it right now is cooper 315/75/16, this tire is good for lifted truck and since i want to make lowered truck ,this is unusable ,my rims are Gt-Wheel brand (16/10/+10) ,has good looking on car,decided to change the tires with MAXXIS 265/70/16 or NITTO 255/65/16

yeap the color is good,few months a go wanted to change the color to candy red,but unfortunately couldn't do that legally and again chosen the blue pearl.
wanted to have the PPG brand but its really hard to find the original here,all are fake,that's why i ordered from standox branch in Dubai .

would like to have the sport strips on the car like the pic,but my car has 82 body and shape ,so the hood and front fenders totally different ,one of my friend tried to design that one ,but i don't like it

and shortened the chassis end for 6 inches more

well the weather is too cold and we can not work properly on car
but we are trying to do something

started to work on bed, the condition is unacceptable .has lots of rust ,ding and...
unfortunately couldn't find the bed parts,that's why i have to work on it.no way

just started from side panels ,has huge waves on panels, but my expert guy is like magician, he works really hard on body to get the good result.







i tried to find the strip edge ,but no chance and made it in simple shape









as i told almost of the parts were rusty and damaged.
like tailgate hings .and we made it too







after that bodywork just try to fit the parts ,to see how is the job?

started to remove the primer from bed to cleaning the rust









also final cleaning of fenders for spraying the primer





during this time ,the front brake had some problem and unexpectedly found the genuine brake parts





then sprayed the primer to be ready for body filler
