Does the rear disc kit move your wheels outward. It seems it would move the wheels outward at least 1/8" on each side.

No I don't think it does , the rotors go flat on the hubs just like the drums do !

Dano, yes it does slightly, the additional thickness of the rotor. Id say 1/8'-3/16"

Looks like a pretty simple install. I like that you don't have to pull the axles out or have them machined! Looks awesome!

Did your kit from CPP come with new ebrake cables?(the back half from
the connector to the caliper) I ordered and installed the same kit for my '79 but they will not send me ebrake cables and my factory cables will not work.

I do agree that it was a straight forward and simple install. A great kit for our trucks!!

You would still have to take the axles out, right? To get the original drum brake backing plate off, or could you just cut it off?

yes mine did come with ebrake cables
