Thanks Hubscrub. Yeh I was really bummed out when the found out the mechanical starter was a no go with the V8 bellhousing. Make sure you put the switch in with wires attached before you put the engine in. It is really tight in there after the motor is in. It would be tough to even change the switch once installed after the motor is in.
