I drive mine all I can. That's why I own it. I use trucks for work and generally need the one set up with all the tools, etc. But,when I know I only need certain tools,or what I need can be left on the job,I drive to work. It's also handy when I need an empty bed to haul something bulky, etc. When my work truck is down I can c-clamp ladder racks on and have an instant work truck. It's also my favorite truck to haul stuff to a swap meet, usually pulling a trailer. Mostly,I drive it when I'm not working just cuz I love it! Winter sucks though. Once they spread the salt my truck stays home. It's an a strict no sodium diet.

Re: do you drive your truck often or not?
Rebuilt a 283 and 700R and put them in over 3 years ago. I have about 700 miles on the motor and about 200 on the tran. I think I have driven it about 4 miles this year. That is not good for sure.

Daily. About twice a week I drive it 50 miles to work and 50 miles back.
EDIT: what's wrong with flowmasters?

Re: do you drive your truck often or not?
I drive my K-20 dailey !
At work pic. I drive a whopping 8 mile round trip each day ! I aint no high schooler either ! Though now I am old an got doctors appointments. Why 'O why does the doctors office have to be 40 miles east of me in Gilbert ? With all the miles I am putting on it, stuff is breaking so I am trying to keep up with the maintenance. Once all the bugs are worked out, it'll be a reliable driver.

Re: do you drive your truck often or not?
From April to October I take the 69'er out 5-6 nights a week to cruise nights and car shows. Last year I put 3500 miles on her and this year it will be another 4500 or so.

Re: do you drive your truck often or not?
Every day! I don't have anything else to drive! I'm gonna get a newer 3/4 ton to pull my trailer someday, but even when I get that I will drive my 67 every day. It gets 19 mpg so why wouldn't I drive it haha. Plus I don't think my day would be complete with out hearing the old girl purr down the road

Re: do you drive your truck often or not?
Same here. It was built to be driven. It was my daily driver for several years back in the 80's and early 90's. It's not the gas cost that keeps me from driving it though. I have to drive for work and have a company car.

Re: do you drive your truck often or not?
i normally try to drive mine to work once a week. that's about a 20 mile round trip and then i drive it all i can on the weekend. normally just short trips and to some cruise ins and local car shows. i normally ration myself to 20 or 25 dollars in gas a week and thats not really alot of driving with my big block, but it sure is FUN.

Used to drive my 72' everyday rain shine or snow. But then I inherited my grandpa's 69' chevy and I drive that all the time.

Re: do you drive your truck often or not?
I plan on driving my 1970 Blazer almost daily this winter. I only work about 10 minutes from where I live so it's not a big deal. My other car is a 2012 Mustang GT so I definitely don't plan on driving that in the snow.

Re: do you drive your truck often or not?
I drive my ochre 72 every day. I sold my work van a few months ago and lay carpet out of the truck. I've had well over a 100 yards of carpet and pad on it a number of times, with lowering springs...sometimes the front end gets a litte light. I work that truck hard some days.

Re: do you drive your truck often or not?
i drive my 72 c20 64-70 miles 5 days a week and every now and agine 150-200 miles on the weekend. it may not look the best or be the fastest but the tank gets the job dun, and i love driving this truck every day its totally worth what i spend on gas which is about $70-120 a week on gas sometimes more or less

Re: do you drive your truck often or not?
Drive mine much as possible. Almost every single day. Would drive it more if gas were cheaper. Often people ask me why I drive it so much since it's old and in such good shape. It's has wheels I say. It's made to be driven. Besides, it drives & rides like brand new.
Here I am at the landfill dropping a load. Yes I use it to haul a stuff. That's why I didn't get a silly SWB. Guess this was right after the big brake job since I hadn't put the hubcaps back on yet.
