Any pics of the transmission cover? And do you have the gas pedal part that bolts to the firewall? Thanks.

Re: Parting 63 Chevy 1/2 Ton 6 Cylinder

I pulled this trans cover and it has pinholes so I do not consider it usable . I do have another one that is in good condition but has a hole for an emergency brake. Price would be the same. The footpedal linkage would be $20 . Thanks

Re: Parting 63 Chevy 1/2 Ton 6 Cylinder

Yes , should fit I will double check. Shipping would run about $25 for both pieces. The trans cover is good. I would have to remove and check condition of firewallpiece. I usually drill out the spot welds if solid. Thanks

Re: Parting 63 Chevy 1/2 Ton 6 Cylinder

It takes about 5 days from here (Nebraska) to California. Price for the firewall piece would be $60 , price for trans cover would be $50 plus $25 shipping.

I would need the A pillars and the front roof bow if they are rust free. So basically cut from under the knee knocker, and across the front roof bow behind the visors.

if it makes it easier you can just cut the entire firewall with a sawzall underneath the entire dash ....

Re: Parting 63 Chevy 1/2 Ton 6 Cylinder

I will take a look but changes of rust free will be slim as we have humiditiy on this end of the state. If it looks promising I will let you know. The problem I am having is above the windshield. Due to age and humidity they are rusting from the inside out. Thanks for the inquiry.

Here is what I have . I drilled the spot welds out on the firewall high hump piece. Down near the foofeet they used a lot of spot welds so kind made it a job to get out. The man on the line that day must have been working overtime . We are are a fire warning area and I could not use my torch to cut around it. I bead blasted the lower area an there are two pitted rust holes. Small but there. It could still be used but just wanted to show the detail .

The trans cover looks fine.

Thanks
