Re: Just signed up!

Yea i thought somebody would say something about that. The reason its upside down is i need to get the supports off of it and put on new ones.
Never use an air chisel on rusty bed supports. I punched three holes through the bottom of my floor, ha ha

Re: Just signed up!

All right this is going to be my build thread now. I need to start with everything i don't have pics of. (sorry!)

This summer I started working on my truck, heres what i did. (to make a long story short)

-Pulled the bed off
-Took off hood, front fenders (inner and outer), grill, cowl, and doors.
-Took off cab.
-Blasted and painted frame.
-Cut out cab floor and blasted cab.
-Put in whole new floor pan.
-Put in new cab corners.
-Primed cab and put it back on frame.
-Sanded and primed body panels and doors (after a lot of Bondo and dent pulling.)
-Put panels and doors back on truck.
-Installed new glass and weatherstrips.
-Put a bunch of cool new stuff in it like a glovebox, dome light, radio and speakers, insulation and floor mat, and a rear view mirror (which i do have a pic of!) oh and don't forget the fuzzy dice!

It all takes time and $$$$ and sometime the $$$$ is funny which mean we can't work on our trucks like we want to,,, I've been working on mine seams like forever and spent more $$$ than I thought I would have but I no what I have and no it's done right...
