Does it possibly have the wrong hood latch. That and if the hinges are off too could cause alot of problem. I can't believe PO didn't line up the body panels before paint!

No problem , no hurry , I go that way often , we will hook up some time,
maybe I will have my truck ready for a test run in couple weeks and come your way in it ... Working on the front end suspension and put n new brake lines and such now , so I got plenty of other things to do it without worrying about the hood ... Got some new hinges on the way, that may fix my problem ...
