Re: Brake light question
you said that your turn signal lever was broken off , if i read the post right, if it is turned up or down that would make that brake light not work, but the turn signal would ...see if it is in the center , or if it broke off when it was up or down....then see what you have working and not working....it does sound like you may have some ground problems, or some bad bulbs crossing over at the filament inside the bulb....

Re: Brake light question
check the plug thats on the driver frame rail close to the end of the frame under the bed.... like not make sure its plugged in but unplug it and check the prongs and what not to see if they are broken or loose... or basically just simply do away with the plug if its bad

Re: Brake light question
Can anybody tell me exactly where the ground is for the brake lights? We took out the ground we put in because we believed it wasn't right and put it in right, but the right brake light still isn't working with the lights on. Pictures would be a huge help, if possible.

Re: Brake light question
Well, here's an update. I cleaned off the screws that hold the tail lights in place and the ground wire that's behind the side marker light that runs to the tail light and ended up getting the brake light and side markerlight to work (the side market light wasn't on and we thought it was because of the bulb, but it was the ground wire). I cleaned em up with a wire brush and replaced the screw and the brake light worked with the lights on now.
