Re: What do you guys think?

Yeah roll pan is definitely an option. Hard to photoshop though. And I hate the stepside rear bumpers.

Re: What do you guys think?

I guess I'll break away from the pack here and say that I like the look. I would move away from flat or satin black and go with graphite or anthracite instead. You might stick with body color on the bumpers to keep it clean.

Something like this would look great as a stepper.

Re: What do you guys think?

I want to bring the look a little more modern. I love the wheels on both of those cars. I wish they made them in 6 bolt.

Re: What do you guys think?

I like the look as you have it but agree the side pipes need to go.

Paint the grill hoops & headlight buckets, bumpers, mirrors & wheels the same dark accent color. A dark metallic gray would look good with bronze.

You could tuck the pipes up out of sight and exit them through a trim ring in the bed side just in front of the tire. More of a modern look that way. Chevelle headers will tuck the collectors above the bottom of the frame rail more than truck headers do to keep the pipes from being the low point on the truck. Poke the exhaust pipes thru a reinforced hole in the frame rail just in front of the rear tires and the exhaust can be completely out of sight except for the tip.

Re: What do you guys think?

If I didn't like my 6 lug rims I currently have right now so much, I would be converting over to 5 lug. There are way more options for 5 lug's than 6. Just food for thought.

Re: What do you guys think?

More or less the parts are already ordered. My brother in law works for discount tire, so we get a good deal on wheels.

Re: What do you guys think?

Haha its pretty much just a family price. I don't think his boss would like him giving a discount to every person that walks in

what color is the truck. It looks like burnt orange, if so I was going to paint mine burnt orange metlic. How does it look in the sun light.

Re: What do you guys think?

Right now the truck is primer black. That's just a photoshop rendering. And for an update on the truck I tore apart the front end earlier. Gonna work on it more after the girlfriend leaves and all day tomorrow. I'll post a pic tomorrow

Nice looking concept. Don't worry about how much time you can spend on it now. Mine has been "almost back together" for 9 years now.

Haha well that's the fun in the project. I'd love to have it ready for power tour. Maybe for 2014.
