Quick Ratio Power Steering Gear Box

I thought the 4X4 boxes worked differently than the 2wd. The boxes will bolt up to 87 truck 91 suburban[you know the square one] with the above mentioned fitting change. Lee make an adapter to go between your hose and the newer box to make that work also. Lee also make the quickest box box you can get. I am not assc. with Lee in any way or yet had need for there products just going on knowledge from others and word of mouth. Jim

the ? is what year did they quicken the ratio. cant answer but '73 seems too early. don't think you'll need a another pitman arm. another thing as mentioned was what year did they change the fittings? can't answer that either. the years for a bolt in swap are narrow, i think maybe only 3 or 4 years. what ever my ebay box was it came with the pitman arm and it fit, for the line fittings i had to get adapters, different rag joint too. if you get the wrong year is no biggie just a little more scratch to make it work. everything is available.
