I have heard of that, though I haven't seen them myself. At any rate, I checked my drums very carefully. No holes, no slots, no knockouts.

on my 70 C10 the adjusting slots are on the drums (top amd bottom), don't even have to remove the wheels thanks to my 20s. With stock wheels the slots are blocked unless you remove the wheel.

Now that the breaks are done I am pretty sure to adjust them you can drive in reverse and stomp the brakes to self adjust. Maybe someone can chime in if this does not work with power breaks. I used to watch the old man do it in his 67, thought he was just goofin off.

Here is a pic of my 70 C-10 with 20's (that is my wife with her new shotgun on the back ... another story) But you can see how much space I have to get to the adjusters ... pretty nice.
