I had a cab that had that option pkg. It was a 6cyl truck I was told.
That should have a big block inserted.

The rust might be from a toolbox- trapped debris and all that. My '71 has rust holes in the rear corners- not big, but the rest of the bed is solid. It had a slide-out camper in it for years, and sat more than it drove. Weird, but, not the worst thing that could happen. This 'inflation fighter' is a ot smoother than my '70- I think there's a ding in every panel, but the paint is a whole lot better than the Cheyenne. There was probably a garage that figured into the mix. I am a bit envious, though.
