Re: Previous Owner Nightmares!
I would have to say (considering what today is) that I am thankful for this website. Otherwise I may have made some mistakes, but hopefully nothing like these PO horrors

bought this blazer a couple of years ago. If one were to fix the rivet holes drilled through out the truck it would take at least a ten pound spool of wire. the entire inside and outside of the truck was trimmed with aluminum flashing. All 1/8" holes about an inch apart throughout. Any panel that was salvageable would have to be welded up. This guy had time on his hands. |

Re: Previous Owner Nightmares!
The previous owner was an old man that drove it back and forth to the shipyard for thirty years and just butchered the hell out of the wiring, which is the worst thing about my truck at the moment. My headlights don't work and only the high beams do and my brake lights and tail lights seem to want to work on their own whenever they want too. It's extremely frustrating to deal with when you don't know anything about wiring and electricity.

Re: Previous Owner Nightmares!
My PO told me...well you could drive it home, but I probably wouldn't. What does that mean. I'll tell you. Leaky wheel cylinders, a busted radiator, a fuel pump wired up from a jumped wire under the dash connected to the alternator just kinda hanging there. Nice and safe according to his rules. So....I made him tow it to my house and haven't seen him since.
