How is the t5 attached? Is there an adapter plate it bolts up to, or what?

Bolts right up with a spacer I don't have the spacer yet I just have I spaced out with some washers for mock up

Chris, That looks good but not knowing very much about air bags, What went wrong? Will you be able to use it in the future?

I'll be using the 4 link on this project. The remainder of that old project is long gone, sold most of it as parts and scrapped the rest, didn't make out too bad money wise just my time.There was nothing wrong with the bag setup, the project just had way too many compromises and I've always wanted a 47-54 so I deced it was time for a change. The truck was a 91 isuzu pickup (I came from the minitruck scene) getting too old for that

Chris., It is something how many old mini truck people are now into the old trucks now. I bagged a f100 about 3 months ago for a guy and he was telling me that most of his friends from that time now have old cars or trucks.

I think that is because there are kind of 2 different levels of mini truck people there are guys that just make decent nice trucks and there are guys who make what I think is arguably the highest quality custom vehicles with fully fabricated frames and crazy suspension, tons of body modifications, 10,000 dollar paint jobs, beautiful interiors, and crazy engine swaps. And really neither get any respect and are limited to minitruck specific shows. for the guys who are into the less drastic side of minitrucks they are like a gateway drug because they can be built super cheap and are almost like training for the next thing. plus the minitruck shows are proned to younger kids acting rowdy, and alot of us were not like that (me) and others outgrow it. I had a beautiful s10 that I had maybe $8, 500.00 into then I started the isuzu to be crazy show truck and in the meantime I grew up a bit and realized I'd have like $15,000.00 into a 91 isuzu I paid $400.00 for

Got the notches welded in well enough to continue the fab work, finish welding and fish plates will come later. The next step is to box the frame then get the 4 link in

Got my boxing plates in and got the rear all setup and temp. secured in place so I can build the 4 link around it.

So true its not even funny! I've loved minitrucks and loved building them for the past 12 years or more, but yeah the dedication is fading. I wont give up on my current builds (2-s10's) but no more for myself after that. The older ya get the wiser you get and then the idea of spending big money on a truck that your lucky to get half that back out of just seems silly... and the immature show scene gets a little boring also with everything looking the same.

Only mainly interested now in building things that are 10-20+ years older then I am. Haha

Got the 4 link setup and all tacked in place. There will be a gusset added to the outside of the lower link mounting plate after the x-member is fully welded.

It holds itself up again! I still have to gusset the under side of the bag brackets and tie them together with a cross bar.

Got the front and rear shocks setup. I also got my s10 Blazer tank and I'm in the middle of getting it mounted.
