That is cool as hell!

How did you fabricate the rear window and bed area? I assume you started with a Vega station wagon right?

Have any close up pics of that area?

Thanks - Jeff

well the back window is the tail gate of the station wagon, the sides and the side windows were cut out and the back tail gate moved foward. due to the angel of the tail gate. the back side of the front doors had to be cut and angled to match. which bring me to a new problem-- does anyone have a suggestion on side glass due to the fact that its now a custom thing. there was plexi glass but that does not do well in 100 degree heat-- back to the conversion the bed is ligned with wood right now but plan to try something else--not sure yet.

Welcome from Pa.
Reallllllly neat custom ride.
As far as the side windows go, I would have looked for windows with close to the angle you wanted then modified your doors and roof to fit them. Near impossible to do anything with tempered glass.
My buddy did up a 68 Camaro like that back in the early 80's. He painted it candy apple root beer over silver base with ghost flames under the candy. He also did a nice dark walnut bed interior to go with the paint.
Good luck and I'd like to see some more shots as you continue.
