Good Luck.
I agree that is where the hose should go.you could use some pipe pieces to make an adapter with a nipple for the hose and tee for the sensor. just a thought.

I agree that I need to move the sensor, just got to figure out if it is for the add on temp gauge. If it is, I can remove it and try to get the original working if the drivers side sensor is for that one. I think he may have just left the original in and added a new one. Easiest path I guess...

I appreciate all the input and will post back after I figure it out. My thanks to all... You all are awesome.

drilling or slotting of the center holes is common to make older intakes fit the newer blocks. its no problem.

Re: Heater Hose Routing Re-Visit

Thanks for the ideas, I found that I do not need one of the temp sensors I have since the PO installed and after market one with the fans. I will remove it and move the fan sensor over and throw a nipple in the manifold. I will keep everyone posted as to the results.

Thanks to all for the advice and assistance, more to come.

Re: Heater Hose Routing Re-Visit

OK All, I HAVE HEAT!!!! LOL, thanks so much for all the help. What I ended up doing was installing the vacuum valve on the intake manifold line, added the vacuum hose, capped the waterpump port, add an intake inlet and rewired the fan temp sensor to use my original temp sensor on the block. All works well and I can get cool air if the weather is better. This will work great until I complete the AC install and I am in line with the valve as well.

Thank you all for your assistance.. Here's the pics...

That looks great, now you have to figure out how to hook up that compressor! Did you have anything in mind?
