Re: post your push bars!
If your still looking for one, I'd be willing to part with the one off my Burb. Needs a little paint, but other than that it's solid. I live close to Lancaster, Oh. I could probably meet you part of the way. If you are interested shoot me a p.m. and let me know.

Re: post your push bars!
Here are my pushbars. I painted the one on my 86 and gave it a little more character.
I made the one on my 84 chevy. It turned out real nice. |

That looks great matched like that! What are those on the side of your bed though? Some sort of cleat or anchor?

Re: post your push bars!
Mine supposedly is a “True Radius” bending guard. Something interesting to note is the truck is an 82 with the turn signals on the bumper which this guard does not have so for now I have dimmed LED amber lights as my turn signals. Don’t know how DOT approved they are but just passed inspection last week.

Re: post your push bars!
I have two squarebody grille guards I’m listing on eBay only because the one pictured sold for $640. One of mine is identical. Hickey brand bolts to bumper and frame horns with headlight hoops. I’d do 500. Second is desert dynamics brand and bolts to bumper with welded hoops. 400

Re: post your push bars!
Here is an aftermarket push bar / brush guard I had on a 76 Blazer back in the late 80's. It came with the rig so I'm afraid I don't know who made it, but looking at my old magazines from the era advertisements suggest it came from either Westin, JC Whitney, or a similar vendor. Similar in style to Hickey, but made from box aluminum rather than tubular steel.
This style of brush guard (as we called them back then) were extremely popular in Montana at the time. One common version I'd love to find in a junkyard again has a black rubber strip down the vertical portion with white lettering saying a state like Montana or Wyoming or Idaho. Not sure if they were made for every state, but they were quite common here in the Northern Rockies back in the day. None seem to have survived, though. My theory is that the folks who decided to spend the money to buy one also were the most likely to hit a deer on the highway. They weren't really strong enough to survive an animal strike, so therefore it would be lucky to see one today.

Re: post your push bars!
does anyone know what the black pushbat is the pics? the white is a 67-72 hickey I out on my blazer. I acquired the black one from another guy who said he had it on his 72 blazer but it is obviously wider than the hickey and has different mounting locations. would this fit a square body?
