Re: Tired of being lowered, raised it 8"
Wow. Those seem pretty strong. I guess I'd just be afraid of it rolling over the stoppers. Eeek!!!

If it's in gear or park, with the E-brake on, and on level ground, it should be fine.

I'm going to ask just because I gotta ask....I know you jack the rear up under the diff, where do you jack the front up? One side at a time?

Re: Tired of being lowered, raised it 8"
It is a process and a bit tedious too! I have to to put one front wheel on a pair of 4x4s laid side by side then I jack up the other wheel high enough for the 8" block and then jack the other side the rest of the way up and onto the block. And that is just the front! I have to do the rear the same way because the body is too low to operate the jack handle when the jack is under the differential. I jack the rear in the same process by placing the jack under the spring pad on the trailing arms. It takes a good 30 to 40 min to get the truck on the blocks working by my self. If I had two jacks I'd do the front at one time and then the rear at one time, but I am too cheap to buy another jack!

Re: Tired of being lowered, raised it 8"
I'd just drive up on them. Then again, I'd provably just use my metal ramps my dad got me for Christmas

So I can work under the truck safely and with plenty of room.

Re: Tired of being lowered, raised it 8"
Glue's great, but I'm sure screws will do more than just fine here. No need to get overly technical here. Oh,BTW,not to be overly technical, but your truck is actually lifted 7 1/2". Huh? What? Oh dang!! Sorry............
