I am back, sort of. To continue this review i got to finally really push the millermatic 211 probably about as far as you can. We built a 28' deck over using nothing but the simple mm211. Roughly a 55ish hour build we managed to complete the frame all welded by me using the mm211 although it started out a little rough i changed the gas over and it was almost smooth sailing from then on.

A few things that i learned after putting in over 400 welds on this trailer, one the lead is way too short when building a 102" wide trailer, it should be 12' minimum unfortunately it comes with a 10'. I had issues getting it to run right so then we switched to a 75/25 gas mix and that basically fixed most of the problems. I did have a few porosity issues i know 99% of it was from an undercoating we put between the frame rails but there were a few spots were it came in again with no undercoating to which I am not sure what was going on.

Anywho pictures of the build, i didn't get really any pictures of the welds as i had to get it done in 4 days time before i flew back and put in 18 hours on the last day to get it done =-o that was brutal but its done and i am mostly happy lol.

Also don't worry the trailer was supported by the main sumner jacks the other jacks stacked up on things we're just to hold the sides from sagging while we put the cross members in they we're not holding a life or death situation.

Also to continue on with how my lincoln 3350 is holding up as you can see in the pictures it's still being used daily with no problems aside from the headgear issue which they now have a new headgear but i don't have it and no the speedglas isn't mine. I think i am on my 5th pair of BM88 gloves now i ordered a set right before i went out to california to build the trailer and left them there so i am going to order another pair for work, best mig gloves ever is still my opinion but as i stated before they are NOT i repeat NOT metal handling gloves. They should be used only to actually weld buy some cheap leather gardening gloves for all the fit up that's what i do then after it is all fit up i put on the BM88s and weld away.

I will also be looking to get another helmet after deciding this trailer was a success and easier to build than i originally thought i have decided I will most likely be building my own trailer at home probably a 22' deck over with a 2' dovetail although it is going to be a cross between a deck over and a car hauler so i know miller has some nice helmets but at the time they didn't have the same size screen as lincoln when i got that helmet but now they have their digital infinity series which has an equivalent size screen but the only downside is i would really like the CAT edition just because i enjoy a nice looking helmet but it is not currently offered in the infinity series only the elite series. So look out for a possible lincoln 3350 vs miller digital elite/infinity some time down the line.

I guess i can also add a review for the hypertherm pm45 i convinced my dad to get on top of things but i kind of forgot about this thread so i didn't take any pics or get to mess with it a whole bunch i cut up from scrap aluminum wheels and used it to cut some pieces on the trailer and it works great but i just didn't think about reviewing it so next time i go out ill try and get some stuff on that as well for anybody looking for a plasma cutter.
