What was the original key configuration on a 1965 suburban? One ignition key and one key for the doors? My suburban has a different key code on every lock.

Adding a few pictures to the thread for one of our members. The pictures show the lock cylinder apart and where the small wave washer fits. The wave washer holds the shaft onto the lock cylinder. LockDoc

I just want to say thanks to LockDoc for sharing this info. I just followed his instructions and pulled the lock cylinder out of my 68. There wasn't a code (locksmith said they were usually on the glove box cylinder) but he was able to make me a couple keys. Got it all back together and installed and now I can lock everything up. Thanks again man. Very helpful info.
