Picture of your tank/compressor would be appreciated too.
Sure can, I was gonna set it on the frame but then the drain would be sideways. It fit perfect behind the cab on the quarter panel. The diamondplate tray has a hole to reach the drain valve.
And yes, I'm very happy with the quality. It's not too fast, nor too slow either. The release in the cab isn't loud at all. Call Travis @ProPerformance, he'll hook you up.

Where did you get your tank and pump?

And, are you happy with your McGauphys stuff? I never knew of them, their prices are good and they appear to be quality stuff.

That truck is just so right.

Love the color, patina and look you have created.

Do you have any photos of the truck with the Beetles parked next to it ?

Re: Just a mild bag job in Texas

Love the truck!!!! The stance is outstanding!!! Can I ask what size tank your using? I looking for a place to put my tank and compressor, besides behind the seat. Looks like you bent some flat stock steel and used a piece of diamond plate. Again the truck looks great. Stay cool down there is Texas. It's nice and balmy here in Chicago land almost made it to 8 degrees.

It is a 5 gal. aluminum tank and fits perfect on the quarter panel. The diamond plate was laying around my garage and it gave me an idea. I made a hole big enough for my fingers for tha drain valve. The flat stock is for support, worked great.
Mid 60's here in El Paso. 8 degrees is way too cold for my @ss. I still wonder how you guys do it. Thanks again brotha

Sure can, the top mounts on the c-notch and the bottom with a long bolt through the arm. A round plate between the arm and the bag.
Another cool idea on the last pic. I removed the bump stop from the a-arms, ground flat on the back. Drilled a small hole and screwed it with a lag screw on the notch. It leaves a clearance about an inch from the axle and the bed aired out. Works perfect!!!

I got lucky my backdoor neighbor had this 2nd owner. I showed it to him the other day he was in town and he just nodded. Good or bad, I don't know but he should've known I was slamming it. What do you expect from a dude who makes noise all night.
