Re: How about some pics of 73-87 saudi arabia ?

I call BS! There is no way that everyone over there just happens to drive a 73-87. BULL S**T!
And I seriously doubt they have a squarebody club with 100s of members all with "like new" trucks.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 saudi arabia ?

I think its legit, I've seen similar posts with 67 - 72s and most other auto enthusiast brands.

I am curious though, were these trucks imported to dealers or were they purchased individually and shipped to the country?

It is legit. Remember: Desert. Dry roads. No ice melt.
And if you think you have some diehard automobile fans/clubs here in North America, they pale in comparison to the lengths some of the Saudi guys go through to make their rides perfect.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 saudi arabia ?

Having been in the Middle East a few times this looks about right. Got to remember for a long time the only ones manufacturing "full' size trucks were the big 3. In my time in Kuwait I was shocked at how many of the big 3's models are running around out there (especially GMs) and yes that dry climate is great for metal.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 saudi arabia ?

My parents went to Venezuela a couple of years ago for a mission trip. When they got back, dad said there were 1000's of 73-80 rust free squares. They were not as nice paint wise as the trucks posted here, but rust free trucks neverless.

Wow. Saw a few GMCs in Iraq and Kuwait but didn't realize they were so big in Saudi Arabia. You guys take amazing care of these vehicles, no wonder they're still out and about. Definitely keep the pictures coming.

If you focusing on the style you will find it nicer then without gaurds. And some people use it.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 saudi arabia ?

The trucks look great. I would like to have any of those trucks. I seen a couple trucks on an episode of Chasing Classic Cars. He took his Chrysler to the Kuwait concours and the took him to another show in the desert and there were a couple of trucks that I have seen posted here on the site. It was kind of cool to see the trucks on that show.
