My mom always had the best advice. It was just a tad late. After a fall that involved blood, she'd say....."Careful!"

Re: Lets hear your engine purr ...

Great posts all...

Just an idea...

Can you all go back and add what mufflers you have installed in your trucks.

Thanks

I think its good to give people a sampling of various sounds produced by different mufflers.

Talking Re: Lets hear your engine purr ...

This was taken the day I installed 2.5" pipes with s/s Magnaflows and 1 3/4" long tube headers on my 6.0 LSx motor swap.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Lets hear your engine purr ...

I know I've shared this before the exhaust was put in 20 years ago and I don't know brand of muffler I just know they are 12" glass packs. motor is 305 with 202 camel hump heads the rest of the spec's are lost to time I never thought to keep records when I did it.
