Re: 82 1 ton price.?

Up here in the rust belt, that's a $4-5K truck. I wish I was kidding.

Re: 82 1 ton price.?

There was a CC dually 2 wheel drive right down the street from my house that just sold for $5900. It looked to be in the same shape as that truck. I'm guessing the CC makes it more desirable.

Look here, http://www.nadaguides.com/?gclid=CNH...FQ4GnQod3GYAVw
Give you a starting point. Think I gave 2200 for my single cab.

I'm kinda like duct tape- no real purpose, but handy to have around.

Re: 82 1 ton price.?

Right I wanted to know about color because i wanted to make sure its the original motor and not a junk yard motor or a motor out of a 10 year older truck with twice the miles on it.
I dont really care what color the motor is like was said I can paint it later if need be. I knew older ones were blue but did not know they went into the early 80s with the color, good to hear.

Around here a rust free square body is harder to find, I will give 2,500 for this truck and wont feel bad about if it is in good shape like has been told to me.

Thanks.

Re: 82 1 ton price.?

I think I know that truck... I've seen one painted just like it in and around Nixa MO. anyway. I noticed it because I like squares and it looked pretty straight. I have an 82 3/4 ton 454. Motor is blue if it matters. 3K if there's no rust is a fair price around here. Check the rockers and cab corners well.

If it ain't broke, there is still probably room for improvement.

Speed costs money, how fast do you want to go?

Re: 82 1 ton price.?

Thanks, this guys lives up by Liberty and is spose to be the second owner. He sounds pretty honest on the phone so hopefully its all like he says.
The flywheels is cracked he said and the speedo cable is making alot of noise so I think I can use that to beat him down on price as the flywheel is not a 10min fix..plus cash in hand seems to work well for most..
