Re: Beautiful Black 67-68 Buddy Buckets
Try Greyhound for shipping. I shipped a 60 GMC hood half way across the country with them for around $80. The biggest drawback is the seat would need to be dropped off and picked up at a depot.

Re: Beautiful Black 67-68 Buddy Buckets
Thanks, I think I'm going to shop around. Adam ( budnik ) told me that they insure up to $300.00. dollars max if I ship greyhound.

I was not aware of the limit on insurance.

Re: Beautiful Black 67-68 Buddy Buckets
Got this off the Greyhound shipping FAQ
In consideration of the rate charged for carrying said property, which is dependent upon its value and is based upon a released valuation, the carriers shall not be liable for more than one hundred dollars ($100), unless a greater value is declared by the shipper at the time of shipment and excess value charges paid. In no event shall the carriers be liable for more than the actual damages sustained. So I guess it looks like its 100.00 instead of 300.00 Guess I would have to pay extra to have it insured for more, which makes sense. I'll give them a call and see what the limit is. *Edit* I called early and just as Adam said that they will insure up to 300.00 max

Re: Beautiful Black 67-68 Buddy Buckets
I just removed the seats from the truck. I need to wait for my friend to get off work so he can help me transport them so I can get a accurate shipping quote. Your first up. Can you give me a call.
Thanks, Scott 913-314-6233 Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Beautiful Black 67-68 Buddy Buckets
People watch out for Greyhound. I had some stepside fenders being shipped from AZ to NC and they were lost/stolen and it took Greyhound almost 18 months to settle the claim. Never again.

Re: Beautiful Black 67-68 Buddy Buckets
Thank you for posting that, I am also aware of the issues that may possibly arise and have address those issues to several of the guys interested already. I don't want anything to happen to where it would have a negative impact on this transaction or my standing here on the forum.

Re: Beautiful Black 67-68 Buddy Buckets
Those are nice ! I think you can find shipping for under $200. The seats and console should fit in a warrobe box from U-Haul and you can make a box for the frame. I wish I had the basic weights and measurements for an idea but I haven't shipped buddies in awhile. You might solicit board members for weights and measurements.
