Re: Which wheel would you choose?

joesgreen: did you order a custom turn offset for the rear? I ordered my 20x8.5 and 20x10 yesterday. The offset on the 8.5 is 14mm, but had to get the rears from Ridler turned and shaved to make 20mm. could have gone with the AR Boss but like the quality of Ridler better.

Re: Which wheel would you choose?

I ususally like the gray/matte finish type, but your truck is kinda shiney.

I say go chrome.

Re: Which wheel would you choose?

IMO if i had a purple truck they would be chrome, gray would look kinda dull on that color. theres really nothing else gray on your truck but you do do have chrome to bring out the wheels. in the end your truck your choice.

I've had the truck lowered for about 10 years now. Im about 3-1/2" /5" drop.
Since it was only a spring drop, I'm seriously considering the ECE 4.5/6 drop kit.

I've already switch to 5x5 pattern & front/rear disc brakes. Just time to get the handling nailed down better.

My tires are 255/40/20 & 295/40/20

Re: Which wheel would you choose?

I don't think those wheels come in custom sizes. They're one piece wheels. You might have to run spacers. I ran a 18. Just got them in today

Re: Which wheel would you choose?

295/45/18 rear. 265/50/18 front. And as far as wheels. 18x10 3.5" backspace rear. 18x8 4" backspace front. This will give the rear a deep dish but will track the same as the front.

If you're willing to drive a couple hours to Knoxville, you could get a set at Performance Products. 865-689-4700. If you do wait until the Rod Run, you will need to call and make sure he brings a set. He usually only brings one set of 20's in truck patterns.

If you need any help finishing the drop, let me know. I might be able to hop over the mountain to help one Saturday.

Re: Which wheel would you choose?

Don't mean to hijack, but mxerchris -- tell us more about the black truck brother. .. What's the plan? Do you have a build thread going? Beautiful truck! Just something about black with lower wood trim.

I like the Ridler wheels too, on topic I would do grey wheels. I think it would look cool with the purple color.

I think the grey would look really good against the color of your truck... but either way it's gonna look great.
