I'm excited about the wheels too. Hard to believe I found steelies for $5.99 each, and factory hubcaps for $15 each

Absolutely! That's how I look at it!

You seem to indicate that you paid some money for those items, but it sure sounds to me like you STOLE 'em!! Good deal!

I just won a perfect NOS set of those caps on EBAY. Now I need to find some steelies too. Gonna do the same thing and paint the yellow parts blue.

I did the same thing about a year ago - Gathered up 4 really nice hubcaps and then found some used rims. I found out that truck tire centers (for big trucks) often have wheel reconditioning services. I got 4 wheels sandblasted and powder coated white, all for $100 at Bandag. I'm very happy with the results. I think they are a national company. http://www.bandag.com/services/wheel-rim-refinishing/ Good luck!

Looks great. I've read on other posts that the dash was a flat version of the body color. Mine is black now but I can see scratches in it that show orange (body color) underneath.

Thank you. It's been rewarding to get so much done, and not spend a whole lot. The Siberian is doing well. He loves riding in the back almost as much as he loves bacon lol.

I called my insurance company today to make sure they are aware the truck is worth quite a bit more than it was when I bought it. They said to just keep pictures and receipts. I made the point that a receipt from the junk yard for a $37 original grille I bought, and spent days restoring and installing, doesn't tell the whole story or value. They agreed, and said to just make sure I keep detailed pictures, which of course I've been doing all along
