Re: New Dude On The Block...
Well went to the junkyard yesterday and sifted through a pile of driveshafts that were one piece, found one that measured up weld to weld and got it for 20 bucks, today I did research on u joints and found out this driveline came off a 68 dodge half ton , ironically going on a 68 Chevy. It had 7260 u joints, and my factory are 1310s . Tracked down some conversion u joints that came factory on a 1980 amc amx and also on 1990 dodge Dakota front driveline , bought them for 30 bucks at autozone , driveline is now installed and functioning. I also got the brake line cut down and re flared to use factory fitting , bled the brakes, and now just gotta shorten the e brake cables . Gonna take her for a spin to see how she drives , then ill tackle the exhuast and rest of the rear frame work.

Re: New Dude On The Block...
Awesome work. I should do this to my 69 but then I would have to re-do all of the lettering on the box. Again, great work and can't wait to see more.

Re: New Dude On The Block...
I'm up for hanging out. Those last 2 pictures are sweet. I've thought about taking pics of my truck there many many times. That old school/junk yard is bout 3 miles from where I live. Nice truck too.

Re: New Dude On The Block...
You do great work that truck looks awesome. Wish I had the skills you do. Liking the hub caps really sets it off.
