The pics are a little misleading. T44 is actually for the inside hood release. The options for the spare delete are on the left side of the pic. I do not know how rare it is to delete a spare tire on the SPID sheet But It's the only one I have ever seen.

Unfortunately the RPO for the spare tire delete is cutoff in the pic, T44 is associated with the Inside Hood Lock Release.

interesting i know where 2 77's are that have the delay but to be honest i did not know thats what it was. so it easy to install and plugs right in an older truck? i can only assume these 2 are still there might find out after next payday

Spare tire delete was fairly common, from a build perspective, especially among fleet buyers. This was during the era when you could get different front tires vs rear tires on the same vehicle.

Spare tire install was one of the operations in my body drop/fender set area (and a job that I have done myself).
