Re: Schlick 58 Build
As bad as I hated to quit playing around driving the truck it was time to bring it in for some more work. Since my whole goal is to keep the truck looking as old as possible there was no way I could put new wood in the bed. So I went into one of our old houses and pulled the wood off the walls to install in the bed. I'm really happy with how the wood looks in the bed and now I just gotta get some more carriage bolts and finish drilling the holes to be done.

Re: Schlick 58 Build
Had a very productive weekend. Got my stock wheels blasted and smoothed up.
Then shot them with some epoxy. Then came some color. Wanted an old school look so went with an off white. The color is called French vanilla |

Re: Schlick 58 Build
Sat morning made a trip to pick up some Coker wide white walls.
After the wheels dried we put the tires on and cleaned lug nuts and hubs and painted them. |

You need to bring that to Brad54's next swap meet at the Atlanta Drag Strip in Commerce! It'll be on St April 6. Got your PM- will get back to you asap. Thanks, Bill |

Re: Schlick 58 Build
Messed with the truck a little this weekend. Got the front lowered down some more and shoot some temp. paint on the headlight bezels for now so they would match. After that I enjoyed the nice weather we had this weekend by putting some miles on the ol truck.
