Re: What would you do?

Looks like the rims are staying.
NOW for tire size. I currently have 265/70/16, with a static drop. Approx 4" up front and 5" in the rear.

Do I keep the same size or possibly look at a 265/75/16. I would gain a bit of ground clearance and I think the truck would look even lower since the tires will tuck up higher in the wheel wells.

I need to decide quick cause I may be ordering tires this week.

As for white lettering or black sidewall, if I can get a nice sporty directional tire, I will probably go black sidewall.

Re: What would you do?

I think I would do the same size you have on it, a taller tire might look "stuffed" in there.

Re: What would you do?

UPDATE......

After searching for a tire that was more sporty/performance and finding next to nothing in a 265/70/16, that wasn't a touring or off road tire and that wasn't discontinued or not available I was left with one option. I went with a Falken Ziex S/TZ04 in a 245/75/16.

It wasn't till the tires arrived today and I was at the store when we unwrapped them, that we seen they had white lettering. So the final decision was to go white letters out. Seems the guys at the garage agreed that this truck looked better with the white letters out.

Also I found out by the DOT on the tire, it was made in 1999. No wonder they were cracking between all the treads, even though there was plenty of tread depth left.
AND of course, the picture,
