I have an OT question about your shop. I just moved into a place with a 38x40 shop and the "insulation" is just some thin foam with a "mylar" type backing between the metal and the wood, with an open ceiling. Weird design. My truck and tools are rusting as they sit in the shop over the damp Washington State winter. How is your shop with the moisture? I see in the pic of your truck you've got some regular fibergals insulation and a plywood ceiling.

It was a total downer this winter when it was "raining" in the shop due to condensation.

My wife and I are pretty bummed about it, because the shop was one of the selling points on the property for us.

Hey that's a local hot rod shop about a mile from my house, Im in and out nearly daily there and have never noticed any moisture at all. I know the roof is well insulated. They do keep it heated day and night reasonably hope this helps!

Gary,

I had the same problem in Michigan. I put up 3/8 dry wall. It is almost like a moisture sponge. I also had a little gas heater overhead but the drywall is what took care of 90% of my moisture.

Hey thanks man. I try to make all the ones I can, the truck is just now getting ready to make some this year. Truck will be at Goodguys Nashville in may!

cool i will probably attend that one as a spectator at least one day and hope to see you there. was wondering if you were going to super chevy show in memphis at end of april? i usually go there for the swap meet and to watch some racing.

I usually alway try to but I don't believe I'm going to get to this year cause of work but I'm going to try! The power tour also comes through memphis this year!
