Re: Working on a 71 swb
Been out for a while but back to work on her. Lost my Dad and been sick.
Pulled off the mock up cab with my bobcat and some 4" steel pipe on the forks.......... worked great

Re: Working on a 71 swb
Solid project and former builds! I love the picture of your dad. My grandfather was in Germany probably about the same time.

Re: Working on a 71 swb
Set the cab and front clip on in one piece
Used 2 pieces of 5" steel pipe slipped onto my bobcat forks with a pallet on top. Set it up into position and raised the chassis up to it. Went pretty smooth for a 1 man show

Re: Working on a 71 swb
Yes I'm still working on this project
Just had some personal setbacks ,I lost my dad recently, had serious stomach problems and broke a rib. Anyway cab and chassis is over at my buddy's shop getting more metal work(all new door inner and outer bottoms), body work and blocking ..making ready to shoot some color.
